Second Letter Goes Unanswered: What Is Francis Afraid Off?
On April 25th Pope Francis received a second letter from the Dubia Cardinals. It is signed by Cardinal Carlo Caffarra in the name of the other three Cardinals Brandmüller, Burke, and Meisner. The letter was made public yesterday.
Caffarra points out in the letter that after Amoris Laetitia "that what is sin in Poland is good in Germany, that what is prohibited in the archdiocese of Philadelphia is permitted in Malta."
For a second time Francis did not have the courage to respond. In the letter the cardinals ask Francis for an audience in order to talk with him about the "division, "confusion" and "disorientation" generated by Amoris Laetitia.
