Dedicated to all the faithfull who ignore the risks of visiting places where falseapparitions take place, following groups guided by "charismatic" leaders orreading messages continually comunicated by visionaries. According to the opinion of manybishops, priests, theologians and also mine, these phenomena are generated by rebelangels. Those who believe in these revelations, think wrongly that they are supernaturalevents, but in most cases they do not realize it is the work of the Evil One who candeceive in different ways. Indeed he can create visions, extasis, dictate phrases, and acton the memory, fantasy, internal and external sensations, passions, but not on the willand intelligence. Moreover, as an intelligent spirit, he can prophetise earthquakes,storms, hurracanes, political and economical events, and with the divine permission, hecan perform any miracle.

Mystic saints have confirmed that those who receive messages, visions or revelationsshould pray God to stop those phenomena quickly, obey their superiors in order to test thespirit and not encourage the phenomenon as it is too often the case nowadays in manyprayer groups, as do the disciples of several false mystics and also in some spiritual andcharismatic movements for instance. Those who have observed those groups in prayer willhave noticed the great confusion and the desire to receive mystic gifts and materialfavours. In the Gospel, several warnings can be found regarding those false prophets, butmany trust more those mystics than the church authorities. The apparitions and privaterevelations recognised by the Church are very few and are not a dogma of faith, thereforethe faithful are not obliged to believe in them.

Finally, I beseech you not to trust your own inspirations in making the decision offollowing seers, based on your belief that there is nothing bad in them, but on thecontrary you judge positive their advice to pray, go to church and adore the HolySacrament. Remember that once you fall into the devil's trap, he can easily use his powerof deceit on the senses, the hearing, the sight, even of the most faithful. He can set theheart on fire (the flame that does not burn experienced by the charismatic) although weknow through the Saints that the love of Jesus in the Tabernacle is true love whichinflames the hearts in such a way that it is impossible to approach it too much, asnarrated by Saint Gemma Galgani. Read the second letter to the Thessalonians and you willunderstand how the ennemy can deceive the faithful in spite of the Real presence of Jesus in the Tabernacle.

Who, instead of reading the Gospel and the beautiful adoration prayers of the Saints,as those of Saint Alphonse of Liguori, reads private revelations which have already beencondemned by the Holy Church, and presents himself before Jesus, cannot do it with joy,because his soul is deceived by the Evil One and he commits a profanation. If someonerecognises himself among the victims of the lie, he should ask merciful Jesus forforgiveness, be faithful to the Gospel and to our holy mother the Catholic Church, forgivethose who stand in error, warn them and pray for them.

Such events do not only refer to the last times, as false prophets want to make believe, but rather to ALL TIMES, as confirmed by the Church's history. The Church and its members have always been persecuted. False Christs and false prophets have always existed throughout the centuries. That is why the interpretation of the Bible (in the present case) should be symbolic and not literally, as teached by the Church.

THE SECOND EPISTLE OF ST. PAUL THE APOSTLE TO THE THESSALONIANS 2
