Profile
32nd bishop of Verona, Italy, serving from 612 to 622. When first chosen for the office, he declared himself unworthy, and withdrew to live as a prayerful hermit. Known for his own religious zeal, and as a miracle worker, he set an example for the whole diocese which led to the construction of many churches and the founding of several religious houses for women.
