Governor Inslee announces new appointment to Adams County Superior Court

Gov. Jay Inslee today announced that he is appointing Judge Steven Dixon to Adams County Superior Court.

Dixon, who grew up in Adams County and who started his legal career in Othello, is currently serving as a Kitsap County Superior Court Judge as well as a visiting judge in Pierce, Jefferson and Adams counties.

“Judge Dixon is a well-respected lawyer and judge with deep roots in Adams County,” said Gov. Inslee. “It was important to find someone who could hit the ground running in this position, and Judge Dixon has tremendous professional experience. I know he’ll be an excellent addition to the bench and serve the people of Adams County well.”

Dixon is replacing Judge Brian Miller who passed away in September. Dixon’s term is effective January 6, 2014.
