Rock For Life Suggests the Perfect Response
WASHINGTON, September 7, 2001 (LSN.ca) – Voters for Choice, a pro-abortion political group which aims to “elect a pro-choice Congress” is being supported by a September 25 rock concert in Washington featuring Alanis Morissette. Also playing at the pro-abortion benefit are Blues Traveler’s John Popper and Chan Kinchla, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Joe Henry. Feminist leader Gloria Steinem will host the concert.
Rock for Life director Bryan Kemper responded to the concert announcement saying, “If Alanis Morissette is going to play a benefit concert this month for the pro-abortion outfit Voters for Choice, then pro-lifers have no business buying her CDs. And if you have one of her CDs, here’s a good chance to send her a message. Break the disc, mail it to her, and tell her you just can’t support an artist who raises money for legalized homicide.”
