A decent defense of SSPX by Nishant Xavier of 1P5.
It recalled to mind a video of a Marian procession of SSPX Faithful I saw for the first time when it was presented by Steve Skojec (yes, that Steve Skojec) in 2015 – two years into this false “papacy” – as an example of why we should accept SSPX *regardless* of the controversy because … anyone who does THIS, in the face of the total Church collapse, is obviously of God.
In the words of Steve Skojec: “The institutional Church gives us an endless parade of perverse clerics trying to tear down Christ’s teaching, while the SSPX gives us this”.
Unfortunately for Steve, he was chewed up by circumstance and forgot. But that little video he shared on his 1P5 site (back in the good ol’ days) stuck with me, grew in importance. I have viewed it many times. Ultimately it led me in circuitous paths to SSPX member.

While reading the comments of the 1P5 article, I came across the poetry of a fellow who goes by the name “Long-Skirts”. He might be a Priest, I don’t know, but I’ve missed his poetry which I haven’t seen in a long time. He would compose these things in response to articles and issues. They were really good.
This was his ode to SSPX in the above linked article about the Marian Procession – a great poem and a great defense of the orthodox holy Society of St. Pius X. This is why they exist!

had their hedges
The English

The U.S.
roots in loam.
Way out near
mid-west cornfields
