This stuff finally solved our insulation issue with our floor to window AC unit. No other tapes would continue to stick to the window frame for more than a few hours from the heat output. I tried 4 other tapes and was about to just caulk it when I found this.
This FINALLY heat proofed the window and held against the heat output. No heat leaked inside, no cool leaked out, everything was finally calm and settled and working. It was an amazing feeling.
Now... taking it off... lol. Let's just say a couple months later and the window frame is still covered in black glue that we just haven't wanted to deal with attempting to get off of it. That's the only downside to this tape. It's super thick, super sturdy, surprisingly easy to rip, and does it's job without complaint. It STICKS to anything - I'm pretty sure I lost my fingerprints taping that window up (kinda funny but also serious).
