I believe, and know, that that ad hominem attack on Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan is grossly unjust. A public apology is due.
In October 2019 the Bishop forbad the teaching and exercise of New Age and religious syncretic practices in his Diocesan schools; practices which crept in through with the knowledge and participation of some Diocesan school employees. Bishop Cullinan was publicly ridiculed in the print media by the Irish National Teachers' Union and a diocesan priest. I wrote to thank the Bishop for his firm stance which was wholly consistent with both the CCC 2111 and also with the the letter of 15th October 1989 from the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith to the Bishops of the Catholic Church, i.e. “On Some Aspects Of Christian Meditation”.

Colgo l'occasione per sottolineare che se la Chiesa è concepita come "Chiesa D'Irlanda" (o di Francia, d'Italia, di Cina...), allora Essa viene frazionata in mille realtà locali, ciascuna sottoposta al tiranno locale (e tutti i tiranni hanno lo stesso nemico da colpire: Gesù Cristo).
Se invece si tratta di "Chiesa IN Irlanda" (o IN Francia, Italia...), allora abbiamo UNA Sola Chiesa, cum Petro e sub Petro, presente nei vari territori e non suddita di alcuno Stato, nè della "Scienza". Le leggi e le "regole"esistenti vengono rispettate SE non in contrasto con Dio e la Sua Legge.
E' questo ciò che manca da cinquant'anni. Il Parlamento Italiano approvò il Divorzio nel 1970; la Chiesa disse, sostanzialmente, "E' legge; ed è normale che lo sia in una MODERNA società PLURALISTICA. E' impossibile ricordare che il matrimonio è indissolubile per sua natura, anche quando non fosse sacramentale".
Da lì in avanti, una frana continua, malgrado gli sforzi dei Papi (fin quando c'è stato un Papa)

Non ci sono abbastanza voci nella Chiesa cattolica volte a ridimensionare la figura di Maria Santissima, da dover andare a pescare assurde elucubrazioni di ortodossi??
