Ein Laie kann Sakramente gar nicht gültig spenden. Punkt! Die Krankensalbung bzw. Letzte Ölung ist ein Sakrament und mit Sündenvergebung verbunden. Das kann allein der geweihte und gesalbte katholische Priester.

My parents were among the first young people in the mid/late 70's to be indoctrinated with this Vatican II garbage. where the word "Extreme unction" was dropped. It was called "Blessing of the sick" when I was in grade school 20 years ago.
My brother was in the hospital for viral meningitis which can be very deadly, and was given a blessing first by a woman from the parish, and later the same week, by the priest (who I think ad lbbed it all). But thankfully to God, my Brother recivered but with slightly impaired hearing as a result.
But it was a woman would came running in first. When it comes time for me, hopefully not fo another 50 years or so, I hope there's still priests to do it. Or indeed, still a Catholic Church. Thank you, Francis, for having to think things like this !!

Qui a Roma in alcune cliniche è praticamente impossibile averla la "unzione per gli infermi", in particolare quelle dove mandano a morire gli anziani (ho scoperto dopo) dopo il pronto soccorso. Allucinante! Non stiamo meglio della Germania.
