St Paul was not the first but he was arguably the most famous and significant converted Christian. Albeit, his virtue was heroic and equal to his faith. A man who experienced Christ's power and love directly, his VIP Christian status did not render and keep Paul's spirit white as snow.

Saint Paul, Fr Corapi you me ... know the thorns of the flesh and received attention from the Satan.
And only God gets to decide why.

I have followed Father Corapi for a while and he was by far my favorite Catholic speaker along with Scott Hahn. Father was an inspiration in my life and I consider Father my brother and friend. I have followed Father Corapi for a while and he was by far my favorite Catholic speaker along with Scott Hahn. Father was an inspiration in my life and I consider Father my brother and friend. I have no idea what the truth of the allegations and story is. What I do know is Father was "right on", told it how it was, and his heart was in the right place to say the least. I know he loves our Lord and our Blessed Mother and gave it his all. If for any reason drinking or drugs were involved there is no reason for anyone to judge or point fingers at him or anyone. I'm sure most, if not all of us, have someone close to us that has or have this cross to bare. Our brothers and sisters that did not ask for this disease. I have been there and would not wish it on anyone. If I had the choice whether it was me to bare this cross or someone else to bare this cross, I would want to be the one to carry this cross. I wouldn't want anyone I love to have to take on this battle. Many times God uses strong people to endure these trials and tribulations, and face the gates of hell, to get well and grab the hand of another and walk them out of the dark forest. I heard someone say to me one time, "your greatest gift is your deep dark past". How true that is. God came for the sick, not the healthy. I want to make sure I make this part clear, that I am not sure that this is even the case with Father Corapi. I am just defending my brother if it were the case. I here people blog about Father being a fake or that he lead many people astray. If that is the case there faith was weak anyway. Father lead tons more to paradise. Father Corapi always said, "Take out the shepherd, scatter the sheep"! That is Satan's plan. The only way Satan can destroy God's church (The Catholic Church) is from within the church. He wants to take all souls to hell and the Catholic Church would have been his only chance to do so. He has already failed but he wants to take as many as he can. Father if you are to ever read this, put your pride aside and come back to our Lord's church, be the man you were called to be, and let us rejoice together in paradise forever. Love ya my brother! Love you Father! RA

Nearly a decade has passed since you expressed what remains in my heart about Fr C, mortal weakness and evil one who unfortunately has mastered exploitation of them. But is powerless against agape LOVE as your comment so beautifully expressed

Amazing testimony, I never thought that a man who was a priest could have ever lived a sinful life in the past.. Shows you how ignorant i can be !Fr. Corapi is a living testimony to GOD! He will definetly, have a front row seat in heaven.. A man of great faith, I thank GOD for him and all the people in the church like him who live for GOD and his mercy! Thank you GOD

My favorite testimony, still. It brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen to his encounters with the Blessed Mother......especially the last one in St. Peters Basilica. Pax†

my most favorite testimony ever! (actually this one is a little different than the one on cd - he's given it at many places) next would be Fr. Donald Calloway's. they both had some crazy lives and some amazing St. Paul-like conversions.
for many reasons, this one really hits home when i think about discerning the priesthood..More
