The House in Medjugorje Community "Queen of Peace, wholly thine - to Jesus through Mary"

The house of prayer is a sign of gratitude for the Queen of Peace, for the graces She has given the world. It is not a monument, but a house where God's people can gather, where those who desire offering themselves totally to Jesus through Mary might gather.

The central mystery of the Christian faith is theEASTERorPASCHALMYSTERY. In the events of grace caused to be by the Blessed Virgin in the parish of Medjugorje, stress was immediately placed on the celebration of the Paschal Triduum. It is for this reason that the building was ma de in the shape of a cross, on which is crucified Jesus Christ.
This choice was ma de in the desire to make God's people better comprehend the mystery of Christ's Cross and of His Sacrifice, so that His people might unite its elf to this offering of His and be lifted up to the Father through the Holy Spirit.
On the anniversary of Our Lady of Fatima, in 1995, some members of our spiritual family already started on this faith journey – gathered at the building site for the laying of the "FOUNDATION STONE."

The day the foundation stone was laid more than two hundred people placed their signature as a seal to the offering of their own live s to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. These signatures were buried next to the foundation stone together with relics of various saints (of Mary, brought to us from Ephesus; samples of earth from Bethlehem and Gennesaret; relics from the grotto of St. Michael the Archangel in Gargano (Foggia, Italy); some relics of St. Francis and St. Clare, of St. Thomas the Apostle, of St. Anthony of Padua, of St. Pius of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio), of St. Gemma Galgani, of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, and lastly, some medals of St. Benedict).

On that occasion those present expressed their desire that the Queen of Peace should be the sole proprietor of the house, and that she should govern it and see that the Trinitarian life grows in it.

Furthermore, it was also emphasized that the house should be adorned withpurity, poverty and obedience to Mary. It was emphasized that the house should never be used for any personal interests, but that it should be used solely for the glory of God, and that all forms of enrichment be banned.

Ave Maria!
Ma e' davvero così la terra che ha forma della Madonna?
Bello!
