The bookings in Roman bed & breakfast are 50% of what they were last December. The bookings in the hotels are down by 20%. There have been many cancellations.
Legal Troubles: Flamboyant Francesca Immacolata Chaouqui and her husband as well as six others are investigated by Roman prosecutors regarding alleged hacking in order to pressure exponents of politics and business in Italy. The case is not related to Vatileaks II for which Chaouqui is standing trial in the Vatican.
Christian Refugees: Slovakia is set to welcome 149 Christian refugees fleeing the Islamic State in Iraq. At least 25 families will arrive in the country soon. They will take shelter in a center in eastern Slovakia. The Catholic Church has agreed to help integrate the new members into the predominantly Catholic country.

I think the decline in pilgrims, is not only because of the murderous terrorists attacks.
