Kein Ministrant ... ? Eine gute Entwicklung ... ? Das ist eine negative Erscheinung des Konzils ! Auch heute ist es sinnvoll, dass die Messdiener dem Priester zur Hand gehen ! Aber, aber, da wenig oder keine Kinder zur Sonntagsmesse kommen, gibt es auch keine Ministranten ! Dafür tummeln sich um so mehr Laien im Altarraum, was nicht unbedingt zur Andacht der Hl. Messe beiträgt .

At this point, if the TLM is important to a young man discerning a vocation, diocesan priesthood would have to be crossed of the list. They’re not going to get permission to say it, as things are right now. I fully support priests who say the TLM anyway, but, seminarians should be aware of the score, and should be honest with their formators. I think Fr. Nix said a while back that men shouldn’t “submarine” their way through seminary. I wholeheartedly agree.
