I repeat what I wrote previously. Because of the scandal caused by Pope Francis, Charlie was hesitant about becoming a Catholic.

Can Catholics change?
There is NO question about it, Jesus is the ONLY way to Almighty Father in Heaven. Jesus IS the MESSIAH, the ONLY begotten Son of God. Also, there’s NO doubt, the Eucharist IS the Holy Flesh and Blood of God. Every human gets anew once they get baptized, sin has NO longer a foothold on them in that solemn moment. There’s one thing (of many), my dear Catholic Church taught me when I was a child, never to rely on men, ONLY have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Never hope on any pope, never wait for my Bishop, never to place my soul in the hands of viral priest… just on Jesus, He is the ONLY one I need to make good, the ONLY path to Heaven and the ONLY source for me to be truly happy.
