Blessed James of Ulm.

A Dominican lay brother who lived from 1407-1491, he was inspired while praying at the tomb of St Dominic in Bologna to join the Order. A model of humility and obedience, Bl. James had learnt to make stained glass windows from his father in Ulm, a German town well-known for this trade. As a Dominican brother he continued to make stained glass windows for the churches and convents that asked for them. Among the works of his that survive is a window in the great church of St Patronius in Bologna. Today (11 Oct) is his feast day. This stained glass window of the Beatus is in St Dominic's Priory church in London.
