Judges, doctors and lawyers have argued that it would be “pointless” for Alfie Evans to be allowed further treatment. What they mean is they think Alfie’s life is pointless. The growing eugenic tendency against the infirm and disabled is harrowing.

I agree. No Catholic would have written this statement. Moreover, there is a glaring portrayal of a lack of compassion nor of
any spiritual dedication of this child’s life to God.
