The collapse of confidence in Francis throughout the Church has no precedent in modern times.

@ Don Reto Nay I absolutely agree with you that the terrorists must be extinguished, because along with the Islamic militants, the Syrian rebels and the West they want to remove the moderate Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Another problem is that the West now also supports the Turkish government and does nothing against the brutal attacks of Erdogan's army against the Kurds in Afrin.

If the Kurds were terrorists, as the Turkish government always claims, then the Syrian government would not protect the Kurds, because the Kurds are the strongest allies against the IS terrorists.

@Josefine: We all agree that innocent children shouldn't be bombed. But the Western propaganda always howls about "innocent children" when it wants to protect the terrorists they have armed. If the West would care about "innocent children" they would not have started this war to begin with. If you want independent information about what is going on: www.antiwar.com.

@Josefine : I don't think BBC is a serious news source. The ISIS stronghold in Eastern Ghouta has for years bombed Damascus, in January they bombed a Catholic school, killing Catholic pupils.
