St Vincent de Paul.

This statue of St Vincent de Paul stands in the courtyard of the chapel of the Miraculous Medal in the Rue du Bac in Paris. On the night of 18th July (until early in the morning on 19th July), Our Lady appeared to St Catherine Labouré in this chapel. And until 1969, his feast was celebrated on this day, 19th July; it was fittingly moved in the new calender to 27 September, the day of his death. However, in 1830, Our Lady appeared to St Catherine on what was then the eve of the feast of the founder of her Order, the Daughters of Charity.
