Pape St. Pius X à la Béatification de Sainte Jeanne d'Arc:
"Je n'ai pas seulement l'espérance, j'ai la certitude du plein Triomphe... Je suis affermi dans cette certitude par la protection des martyrs qui ont donné leur sang pour la foi, et par l'intercession de Jeanne d'Arc, qui, comme elle vit dans le Cœur des Français, répète aussi sans cesse au Ciel la prière : Grand Dieu, sauvez la France !"

"I not only have hope, I have the certitude of full Triumph... I am strengthened in this certitude by the protection of the martyrs who gave their blood for the faith, and by the intercession of Jeanne d'Arc, who, as she lives in the Heart of the French, repeats the prayer in Heaven without ceasing: "Great God, save France!"
