@Ave Crux You told it yourself "if it were applied and obeyed within a capitalist system". Capitalism is implemented in order to not obey to the Catholic Church's social teaching. And you compare with Communism and socialism as we knew it in USSR for instance, but socialism exist already in many capitalist countries like even the US or France even though people fail to understand that the policies are socialists. Some important thinkers from our gouvernements are now explaining to us that the Communism can be applied only after the capitalism, and not before.
Capitalism is thus perfect to bring atheistic materialism in a society and secularism destroy s better the souls than the body of a believer in a communist country. As Christ told us : "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul.Instead, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. " (Matt 10:28) / "I tell you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and afterthat can do no more." (Luke 12: 4)
Capitalism can be more harmful then.

@Ludovic Denim: I am referring to private property and the private ownership of businesses. What you are referring to are abuses of a system and populace free from government interference and coercion.
The Catholic Church's social teaching would suffice to correct these abuses if it were applied and obeyed within a capitalist system. Not so with Communism and socialism which are entirely inimical …More

The Catholic Church's social teaching would suffice to correct these abuses if it were applied and obeyed within a capitalist system. Not so with Communism and socialism which are entirely inimical to the Church teaching and our freedoms as well as a just freedom within the economy.

The family was destroyed due to the industrial revolution and the capitalism with private capital that exploited the sources of production by privatizing the means so that the peoples could less and less go to the mass the Sunday or were forced to work the night, separating the members of the families with different hours. Later, the secularism could triumph because of this and when they made WWI allowing the women to become more independent as the men where on the front of the battle. Mgr Delassus wrote all about this in the "anti-christian conjuration"
Ave Crux
That's absurd. Christian civilization was always a capitalist economy. What destroyed the family in the modern world was the triumph of secularism, the advent of television and mass media spreading ammoral world values which led to a culture that rejected God, and the wimpish response of the Catholic Church to the challenges of the secularist worldview.
