Phone Mercy: Francis Calls Cardinal Becciu

In the evening of the first Sunday of Advent, Francis called Cardinal Becciu who immediately passed the information to a journalist

Becciu said that “the thoughts of the Holy Father were very different from those of the journalists” (HuffingtonPost.it, November 30).

Nevertheless, Becciu was not allowed to participated at Sunday's creation of thirteen new cardinals.
