"All Right": Presiding Italian Bishop Sings Roman Rite Vespers

Bologna Cardinal Matteo Zuppi sang vespers on Friday at Rome's Pantheon as part of the annual Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage. Hundreds of Catholics attended.

Zuppi, a homosexualist known for playing up to the oligarchs' media, told NcRegister.com (October 29) that he was there because the organisers had “invited me — they invited me before I became president of the Italian bishops’ conference [May 24], and I thought it was all right.”

Traditionis Custodes, he said, was not a problem for him, “I think it was a directive that the Pope thought was useful, and it is to be applied with great awareness and with great responsibility.”

Only recently, Zuppi visited the seminary of the Roman Rite Christ the King Institute in Gricigliano, Florence, and was impressed by the number of seminarians.

Abbé Claude Barthe, coordinator of the pilgrimage, recalled during a Friday talk the deplorable situation of Catholicism worldwide, especially in the West, where it is about to disappear.

Argentinian Trinidad Dufourq said that before Summorum Pontificum there was hardly a Roman Mass in her home country, while that is currently the case in half of Argentina's 66 dioceses. In total, there are 54 Roman Rite churches, half of which belong to PiusX.

Aldo Maria Valli noted that the Roman Mass "has been kept secret, as if it were dangerous, as if we should be ashamed of it", but that he receives many testimonies from people who are approaching it.

Zuppi acts like a politician.

@Dr Bobus I've seen you right up here before. I hope this is another occasion of your accurate insight.

Dr Bobus

Neither Tagle, Zuppi, Greche. nor Roche will ever be pope. Nor will any be a serious candidate.

That's right!! I have always said, and I read from other people too, that they have a feeling that the next Pope will be orthodox, perhaps even to the right of Benedict XVI.....definitly supportive of the great Catholic traditions shown in these photos. Notice that big crowd turned out for this.....next to no one shows up to Novus Ordo.
The next Pope I think will be a surprise.....someone young enough to undo all the rot of Francis, strong enough to sack all the homos in the Vatican and in dioceses, devout and faithful enough to support the Roman LAtin Rite (while at same time giving reluctant lip-service to Vatican II), and in office long enough to totally implement agenda 100% opposite to Francis.
In the end, Francis will be dead, and all his Vatican trolls will be sacked.
Just as Elon Musk is sacking and getting rid of the radical liberal/trans/homo loving CEO's at Twitter, so the new Pope will do in the Catholic Church.
He'll send out hundreds of "pink slips" requesting immediate resignations of scores of Francis bishops. Good riddance.

200 priests and seminarians; getting on for 1,000 at Mass in St Peter’s.

That's wonderful, hope they surpassed 1,000. St.Peter's has a hard time filling the basilica for Francis' ceremonies. I've noticed he has not celebrated Mass for nearly a year....just sits in his chair and lets someone else "preside". Actually, he probably does not believe in the Holy Mass either. JPII despite his ailments and confined to a wheelchair, and all his illnesses, STILL celebrated Mass, practically for the last time, from his chair, New Year's Day 2005. He was dead in less than 3 months later.
Paul VI, despite having severe, severe polyarthritis in every joint, still celebrated Mass at every occasion.
I do not think Bergoglio believes in the Mass ( even the worthless Vatican II Mass), or even in the Most Blessed Sacrament. One of the first things he did when becoming Pope, was first curtailing his complete participation in the Curpus Christi procession and Mass, and then in the last 6-7 years, cancelling it all together.
But he does love his Pachamamma.

We should watch out for this man! He is clearly ambitious and him becoming the next pope would be horrible but he has some handicaps:
1. He is relatively young.
2. Too openly ambitious.
3. Itaslian (number of Italian cardinals has shrunk further under Francis while third world cardinals have increased).
4. The gay blessing (first in any Catholic church in Italy) and his dishonest denial of it will hopefully matter more to African, Eastern European and various Asian bishops than him indulging the Tridentine faithful.
Tagle has defended the China deal, hopefully this will turn more Asian cardinals against him and handicap his chances.
Grech has embraced the radical Left for some odd reason...
Roche is another dangerous candidate but with little clear charm and associated with heavy-handed enforcement of Custodes which most bishops have ignored.

@John Fritz Logan you are 100% Correct!!! even though Cardinal Zuppi allow to Latin Mass...I can't believe him...be cause he support to all Wrong Agenda...LGBT,Reckless Abortion...I think he allow to Latin mass..it's a trick....I really hope we will get Orthodox Pope..Fast time..like your Archbishop...Eminence Cardinal Eijk...or Eminence Cardinal Erdo(Archbishop of Budapest,Hungary)will be great too....much younger Pope..(Eminence Cardinal Sarah is great too..but he is little longer age...)much longer stay..but if Lord Choose to Eminence Cardinal Muller..I think it's great choice too...do you agree? even though not will elect to Pope..Lord knows Cardinal Muller's everythings..it's much important...I think you agree...but I hope tell this..so tell you..God bless always!!! Holy Mary,All Angels and Saints..pray for us..Amen..take care..always learning a lot about your great opinions...
