We don't need a book to tell us North America is in trouble.
Think about it - the various prophecies of Chastisement never mention the US, even though we are currently a global power. So why not? Because by the time the visions unfold, the US will be unable to assist allies in Europe. And IIRC, Hildegard von Bingen obliquely mentions the New World countries are in for it, particularly the US.
