He was involved in a collision with another vehicle on the N-121 near Caparroso and died at the University Hospital of Navarra. The other driver was uninjured.

Nahuel hailed from Cordoba, Argentina, belonged to the Neocatechumenal Way, and had studied in Pamplona where he was ordained on June 22. Presently, he was parochial vicar of Peralta and Funes, Northern Spain.

Isn't the Neocatechumenial Way somewhat "progressive" or questionable in its liturgical practices and beliefs. In other words, just another lunatic "New community" born of Vatican II.

If you talk to priests anywhere where the Neo-Cats have a presence, you will here only strong opinions, pro or con. Seriously though, this "their odd liturgies, that are closed to non-members" should be a red flag. Reminds me of the …More

Also they don't really have strong traditional moral beliefs as is enough if you say that you do reject sin and you can receive holy communion, don't need really change anything in your life as you are on the way...ypu can be on the way all your life and is fine.

Sounds just like Pope Francis...they should fit in fine with him.

I know a priest who helped out at one of their "masses". He told me they receive our Lord not kneeling (as in the TLM), or even standing (as in the Novus Ordo) but seated at dining tables. They pass around a huge chalice - more like a bowl - of the Precious Blood and each communicates himself! My friend was so worried about accidental profanation of the sacrament (i.e. spills, etc.) that he vowed …More
