Cardinal Burke should re-read Daniel :
"And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be cast down on the ground and he shall do and prosper." (Dan 8:12). "The victim and the sacrifice shall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation." (Dan 9:27). @Kenjiro M. Yoshimori Montini DE FACTO supressed the Mass... are you telling us that he did not FORBID the Mass in order to IMPLANT the "novus ordo" ????
are you that blind ? really?
Jeffrey Ade
@porta folio manager Sure Montini did that but he is not able to destroy the Catholic Church. God has allowed the devil certain permissions during our times but this age is fast closing and soon we shall be in the age of The Reign of The Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady Foretold all this at Fatima, if we were listening. God bless you! Viva Cristo Rey!

Agreed: Nor Montini, not Wojtyla, Not Ratzinger, (even less bergoglio!) could be able to destroy the Church... in fact, NO ONE could destroy it... BUT the "thing" that Montini, Wojtyla, Ratzinger (& bergolgio) presides is NOT The Church ... yeah... there is Fatima BUT dont forget La Salette "rome will be the seat of the anti-christ"

@porta folio manager Thank you! i will try not to forget that! god bless you!

The work has already been done by Paul VI.

Paul VI never supressed the Roman Rite, he wasn't that stupid. Francis attempt at doing it will bring down his Papacy, and all people who support him. Read the post about Enzo Bianchi and what he says about Francis' Traditiones Custodes and persecution of the Roman Rite. If a true progressive like him can condemn Traditiones Custodes, and condemn Francis for his prsecution of the Mass, then the game …More

If a true progressive like him can condemn Traditiones Custodes, and condemn Francis for his prsecution of the Mass, then the game is over. More and more will rise up against Bergoglio. All faithful Catholics who love the Roman Rite should rise up, and force Bergoglio's resignation. A ND THERE'S MORE OF THEM THAN HE THINKS.

@Kenjiro M. Yoshimori ....And by the mercy and prayers of Our Lady, the number of conversions grow every day and night.

That's wonderful to think that conversions to true Catholicism and the Roman Rite is growing. I think you are correct. I have 2 parishes near me. One is Novus Ordo, one is a Fraternity of St. Peter church. I'm only 32, so I wasn't around to guess how many Masses they had before VAtican II, but the Novus Ordo church had 4 scheduled Masses when me and my family moved to our suburbs of Philadelphia …More

I'm only 32, so I wasn't around to guess how many Masses they had before VAtican II, but the Novus Ordo church had 4 scheduled Masses when me and my family moved to our suburbs of Philadelphia house. Up until 2 years ago, they had 4 Masses still. Now they have 3. I've driven by their parking lot on Sundays during the A.M., and there's really only 1 Mass which brighs out a full lot. The other church, is a FSSP church which in the beginning had 1 Latin Mass at 8:00 am,. Even though that was early, the church was filled. Now they have 2 Masses, 1 ordinary low Mass, and 1 High Mass sung with chant and choir. Now there's talk they want to buy the third Catholic church in my general area, which is 2 1/2 times bigger than their present one. At present it is a closed parish, but they want to buy it. The former school is now a convent of nuns from Mexico who are new to our Archdiocese and wear really cool looking purple old-fashioned habits. Very impressive.. Al young girls probably in their 20's and 30's....eight of them.
The school used to be run by the Sisters of St. Joseph, radical liberal layclothes nuns, 5 of them, all well past 70. Kinda sad to see one nun with a walker teaching first graders. She was 76 at the time....one of the "younger" St. Joseph nuns there 😂

The traditional mass has been so suppressed that Lefebvre had to rebel. Hence the FSSP.
All that is a drop in the ocean.
They have to say that the 2VC has been ok.
Nevertheless, the FSSP has served to make more people aware of the traditional rite, albeit somewhat changed.

@foward But FSSP also has helped montini, wojtyla, et at in his plans to damage the Faith, as they recognized them as "true shepards" ... AND they also recognized the "novus ordo" as TRUE MASS (not for his taste, but, true after all)

@foward Archbishop Lefebvre did not rebel; that holy bishop simply carried on with Tradition, which is what all Catholics do who love and cherish the Faith as it has been passed down to all of us for about 2,000 years. Vatican II tried to abolish Tradition and obscured the Faith.
