Hero Who Opposed Transvestite Ideology Prevails in Court

The Virginia Supreme Court ordered Loudoun County Public Schools on August 30 to reinstate the gym teacher Tanner Cross at Leesburg Elementary.

Cross was “suspended” after a May 25 school board meeting where emotions ran high and rational arguments were unwelcome. He had stated that he would not obey an order to address transvestites with the gender of their clothes.

“I’m a teacher, but I serve God first. And I will not affirm that a biological boy can be a girl and vice versa because it is against my religion. It’s lying to a child. It’s abuse to a child," Cross said at the hearing according to NbcWashington.com (August 31).

Alliance Defending Freedom, a Christian legal group defended him.

What he's really "won" is a salary while he looks for another job. Otherwise he's trapped in a dead-end job with superiors who will look for every excuse to give him the absolute minium (if any) wage increase -all while waiting for the first chance to remprimand and then fire him for good. The left-wing teachers' union bosses aren't going to stand up for him, either.
