Francis in Kazakhstan: Big Words, Little Substance

Francis, of course, is “always ready to visit China.” In his first speeches he cried out for "peace," "dialogue," "unity" and "harmony." He claimed that religions “are called” [by whom?] to contribute to “encounter.”
He demanded the abolition of the death penalty and praised "freedom of speech" which is inexistent in Francis' Vatican.
During Francis' visit to Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the latter announced that the name of the capital would be changed from Nur-Sultan (since 2019 in honour of his predecessor) back to Astana. The Catholic diocese has never changed the name.
Francis will participate in the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions to be held in Astana “as a messenger of peace”.
LaNuovaBq.it (September 13) comments that “the pretext is working for world peace, but in this way the Church participates in the new syncretistic civil morality” which LaNuovaBq.it calls an atheistic project.
