Fargo Diocese Investigates Mysterious Paint

Diocese and police are investigating vandalism outside Fargo cathedral, North Dakota.

In the night between April 16/17, the face of a marble statue of Christ was disfigured with black paint. However, two days later, the paint had mysteriously disappeared. The diocese doesn't know who removed the paint.

In 2018, a statue of Our Lady was decapitated in a South Fargo parish.
