Some call this man a humble Saint! It can't be that he is a Catholic Saint - is there perhaps a Communist equivalent?

Pope Gregory the Great is a Saint. - the Acts of the Apostles documents that rather than remain silent the Disciples were constantly, stoned, beaten, whipped & eventually murdered for being a living witness to the Truth of Christ and His Mystical Body the Church until death.. I have not ever read of a Pope Holy Saint who closed all the Churches, threw the Saints out of their Monasteries, and prefered the company of evil Ba'al worshipers to the faithful Flock of Christ.
Since this "closure of Church property" is the permissive Will of God, I put it to you that He is allowing it to protect His faithful from YOU! Perhaps, your outrageous teachings are now finally so barmy, that He's pulling the plug on you and your unholy agenda. Dressing up as Saints to woo the sinners in, then with a knife in their backs they exit twice as fit for spiritual death as when they came in!

Maybe this closure is RIGHT after all! He can't abide you evil people fleecing His flock, and trespassing on His Holy ground any longer,

Off to the SSPX - they won't mind catching the virus - if it's to save a soul....

This is a common Francis tactic: praising people whose views/ actions he supports without actually supporting the views/ actions directly. It wouldn't be proper for the Pope to say, "Yeah! Cancelling Mass on silly pretexts! I'm all for anything that keeps Catholics out of Mass!" So, instead, he praises the government leaders who are doing just that. According to the Pope, they're just making decisions "for our own good".

Cleverly, he avoids addressing the preposterous double standards of those same government leaders. Why ban gatherings of Catholics while allowing secular gatherings at restaurants and bars to continue just as they always have? Which is clearly a greater cause of infection?

A Pope with genuinely Catholic principles would excoriate Europe's governments on just this point.
