Thanks be to God that the Diocese backed this courageous Priest up. We need countless more heroes like this Priest. Think of how many sacrileges are happening to Our Lord....there will be a debt to pay, and it will be paid by all of us when God finally chastises the human race gone so far astray...even to the point of teaching aberrant sexuality to young, innocent children.

Thanks be to God that the Diocese backed this courageous Priest up. We need countless more heroes like this Priest. Think of how many sacrileges are happening to Our Lord....there will be a debt to pay, and it will be paid by all of us when God finally chastises the human race gone so far astray...even to the point of teaching aberrant sexuality to young, innocent children.
And this Priest is to be credited in that he didn't make a scene when this woman was coming up for Holy Communion by denying it to her on the spot during Mass.
No...he called her outside of the time of Mass to explain that she must no longer come up to receive Our Lord in Holy Communion. That is what a truly compassionate and faithful shepherd of souls does.
NO ONE -- not even "heterosexuals" -- is allowed to use their sexuality in any way except in that way which God intended....for the sacred task of "co-creating" with Him to bring immortal human life into existence within the context of a true marriage as designed by God for that purpose...
That means that ALL those who use their sexuality outside of marriage -- when practiced habitually and without repentance -- must be excluded from Holy Communion. Even if it is a heterosexual couple living together without the benefit of a Catholic marriage, they also must be denied Holy Communion.
There is nothing discriminatory about it; it is moral guidance for every single Catholic alive. However, even "faithful" Catholics can no longer make these distinctions.

Same sex marriage is not tolerated in Islam. Is there such consternation in the press about that? Good priest upholding divine law, not sentimentality. Good that the bishop supports him as he must.

Read what St. Paul says about receiving Our Lord unworthily.
God's stance on sodomy is very clear & so is the Catholic Church's teaching on the matter. We aren't Protestants. We don't make it up as we go. You don't like it, take your $7K you invested in the church elsewhere that will accept your wicked lifestyle.

Correction, the judge was not ‘married’ to her ‘wife’. It is impossible for a woman to have a wife and only a male and female can be married to eachother.
