Bomb in Saint Peter’s

Bomb in Saint Peter’s. On Tuesday, at around 1pm, people were surprised to hear that St Peter's Basilica was closing its doors. Specula reports on InfoVaticana.com that, as things stand, with the banning of Masses from Saint Peter’s and the hatred against altar cloths and birettas, everybody thought the desacralisation of the place imminent, its opening to the pachamamas, the exhumation of St. Peter, to return him to his family in Capernaum, the removal of the sinister tombs of intransigent pre-conciliar popes. But, for now, it was only an anonymous voice warning: "There is a bomb in the Vatican. It will explode soon". Specialists were brought in. Almost two hours of tension, at last, only a false alarm, at least for now…

Fear of Hell

Fear of Hell. The new liturgical translation of the Bible for the Italian Novus Ordo has problems. In the 1974 version, used until now, the Second Letter of Peter 2,4 says: "God did not forgive the angels who had sinned, but cast them into the dark abysses of hell". In the new translation the angels who had sinned are – quote – “cast into the dark abysses.”

From the Reservation to Zoo Regime

From the reservation to the zoo. Francis' intention to "promote harmony and unity in the Church" with Traditionis Custodes is achieving the opposite. The Society of St. Pius X said about the document: "While Francis is the defender of animal or plant species in danger of extinction, he promulgates the extinction of those who are linked to the immemorial rite of the Holy Mass.” PiusX speaks about a rigid reduction of freedom. Quote, “Until now the spaces reserved for the ancient rite had a certain flexibility of movement, a bit like in the reserves. Today we have moved on to a strictly limited zoo regime with cages.”

Model bishop

Model Bishop. Springfield Illinois Bishop Thomas Paprocki has dispensed everybody in his diocese from Traditionis Custodes. Paprocki holds a doctorate in canon law. His decree can serve as a model for other bishops. He allowed all Roman Rite churches and groups in his diocese and all priests who celebrate the Roman Rite to continue. Paprocki refers to Canon 87, according to which a bishop may dispense with general disciplinary laws if it helps the spiritual welfare of the faithful, even if such laws have been issued by the Rome.
