Catholics Protest the Blasphemous Film Benedetta in New York City.

When the blasphemous and anti-Catholic film Benedetta by Paul Verhoeven was announced, a movie that portrays a lesbian nun and other unspeakable sins, those who love God knew that something had to been done to oppose it and make reparation to God and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

With hearts and minds oriented towards heaven, young members of the American Society for the Defense of Tradition, Family and Property (TFP) organized a prayerful protest at Alice Tully Hall in New York City on September 26, 2021. The banner they unraveled sent moviegoers a clear message: “We vehemently protest the blasphemous lesbian movie Benedetta, that insults the sanctity of Catholic nuns.”

Dozens of faithful joined the rally of reparation. As the holy rosary was recited, hundreds of movie-goers lined up outside Lincoln Center to see the blasphemous movie. While some yelled, others blasphemed. But the majority laughed or sneered at the prayers and religious hymns, mocking what is beautiful and sublime. Nevertheless, the mockery was met with prayer, obscenity with serenity, and impurity with holy boldness.

Many souls who passed by or heard about the protest were fortified to keep up the fight. “Thank you for your protest against the horrible movie Benedetta,” said one young Catholic. “It pains me to see our faith mocked so viciously and cruelly, but our comfort is knowing that God is victorious in the end.”

This new attack against the Church must be opposed. Public blasphemy demands public reparation.

The Catholic Faith is the only religion where bigotry is tolerated.

There are none so blind as those who will not see.....as a Catholic woman, I dig the young manly voices stating unequivocally their stance against this abomination. The bagpipes are a great touch as well. Please continue this much needed work. You are a great example to men and women who crave the strength required to stand up against this defamation and debauchery.
Facts Not Lies
The curiosity that comes to mind is how two females in sin gets more press and interest than two males in similar circumstances. The disparity is blinding enough to point me to the target audience.
