Priests Form Unions, Resist Draconian Restrictions

The US Coalition for Canceled announced that they will support priests "who feel they cannot go along with the draconian restrictions placed on the celebration of the ancient rite, both the Mass and the other Sacraments."

"It is time for all faithful Catholics to stand side-by-side and truly unite the clans through uncompromisingly upholding and faithfully living the holy traditions that have been handed on to us by our ancestors in the Faith. "

"We also want to make clear that the Coalition will strive to help any Catholic priest who feels he cannot, in good conscience, go along with “jab” mandates. Please pray and fast for Pope Francis that his heart will be melted and he will truly become the shepherd and father..."

Quotes taken from a press release of today, sent out by the Coalition for Canceled Priests.

This problem was solved by the pioneers of the Catholic Church decades ago. Funny how people, even priests want to reinvent the "Wagon" wheel!

St. Jerome wrote, “the whole world groaned and marveled to find itself Arian“. And Saint Athanasius seemed to stand alone against the Church Herself....
Well now, “the whole world groaned and marveled to find itself Bergolian“. So, too, we will stand against anyone in the Church who follows his agenda, anywhere, anytime. Thank you, Faithful Priests, for obeying God, not man....

Good luck with that guys. You gave up that right when you became priests. Canon Law 273: Clerics are bound by a special obligation to show reverence and obedience to the Supreme Pontiff and their own ordinary.

Ah, but Canon Law is positive law. Divine Law supersedes positive law. What does a priest do who cannot resolve the conflict between obeying God or obeying man?

He obeys God and obeys The Church, not man. ;-) It can be done, The FSSP and other groups of Catholic traditionalist priests have been doing it for years without lapsing into Lefebvre's schism.More
