Francis' Curse? The New Grand Master Is Already Dead

The 1,000-year-old Order of Malta which is still shaken by Francis’ brutal takeover, announced June 7 the death of Fra’ Marco Luzzago, 71, who led the order only since November 2020 as the Lieutenant of the Grand Master.

A medical doctor, who was related to the unfortunate Paul VI (+1978), he died after a “sudden illness” at Villa Ciccolini in Macerata Province. Luzzago and his predecessor Fra’ Giacomo dalla Torre were considered mere puppets put in charge by Baron Boeselager and the German party which want to turn the Order into a secularised NGO.

Matthew Festing, 71, the real last Grand Master of the Order, was disavowed by Francis in 2018. He died suddenly in November 2021.

Born in 1950 in Brescia, Fra’ Marco Luzzago, after completing his studies at the institute of the Franciscans in Brescia, studied medicine at the Universities of Padua and Parma. He was then asked to manage his family’s property interests.
He joined the Sovereign Order of Malta in 1975 in the Grand Priory of Lombardy and Venice and took his Solemn religious Vows in 2003.More
