Francis has denied being involved in the case of Father Marko Rupnik, despite being a proven control freak (APnews.com, 25 January).
He only intervened to refer a second series of allegations by nine women to the church court that had already dealt with the first accusations: "So I had nothing to do with it," Francis affirmed.
But as early as January 2020, Vatican judges found Rupnik guilty of fornication with members of a female religious community and absolution of carnal sins in which he had participated. In May 2020, Rupnik was "excommunicated", but the excommunication was quickly lifted - an act reserved for the Pope. So it seems that the supposedly clueless Francis is lying.
In March 2020, Rupnik gave a televised Lenten sermon to officials of the Roman Curia. By autumn 2022, Rupnik had been commissioned to do artistic work for important church events.
Now Francis claims he is "shocked" by the accusations against Rupnik, with whom he was very close friends.

Catholics are laughing at Francis saying he knew nothing. Such an obvious lie! My little nephew is only 6, his name is Hekima (meaning bright or clever....which he is, even at 6). But unfortunatly I guess, he's a GREAT liar/fibber. Maybe I could hook him up with Francis and he could teach Bergoglio to be an expert liar...........or at least convincing

Regarding homosexuality in the Church, nearly ALL the major news services and posting the header "Pope says Homosexuality is Not a Crime".....but they don't finish the quote where Bergoglio states that IT IS A SIN.
