The "path" that leads to Life Gospel of Sunday July 30 XXII of the Ordinary Time Dear brothers and sisters, Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God, as the Church has been professing for 2000 years following the example of Peter and the Apostles, comes to this world to save humanity from the corruption of evil and death. However, the salvation that he came to offer humanity is not as imagined by the Jews, including the apostles, nor as the happiness that man of all times seeks. A happiness linked, very often, to a wealth, a beauty and an eternal youth on earth…. Jesus, on the other hand, invites men and women to follow him on the only Path that leads to the "happiness" for which they were created. A happiness that begins on this earth, but is fully fulfilled in another dimension, that of God, Heaven's dimension. A "Way" that, although, paradoxically, passes through the failure of the Cross, has eternal glory as its goal.
