Daniel and Elaine Carr were married April 10, 1982. They spent their first seven years of marriage living in the Holy Land and have 7 children. Elaine is on the board of the Bethlehem Holy Child Program, which supports a school in Bethlehem. The school provides specialized services for children of all faiths with mental health issues or trauma. Dan retired from Catholic Relief Services and is a writer and poet whose poetry is on the website pilgrimpoet.life.
