This is the way it should be. The governor politely requests something and the Church politely declines that request.

Amen. It’s my parish priest that’s the real hero. Daily Mass and twice on Saturday and Three times on Sunday ( and he even made one of those ten Masses a week a novus ordo - to be inclusive and ecumenical)

My parish priest is moar awesome than your parish priest. :D We have moar Masses than you do... our fourteen to your ten with confession before each one. ...and none of them are Novus Ordo.
