Our Lady's Statue and the statue of St. Bernadette were untouched after Hurricane Ophelia in the grounds of The Nun's Convent at Carriglea .Co. Waterford. Even though Trees and heavy branches had fallen over the Grotto completely covering it,and making it almost impossible to see or approach. It was witnessed by Sr. Mary and I'm reading about it now in the local newspaper. It was erected by The Sisters in 1950. The Statues are made from brilliant white Carrara Marble from Italy.
