The U.S. gay-propaganda broadcaster NBC asked Newark Cardinal Joseph Tobin on April 17 (video below) why the Catechism of the Catholic Church calls homosexuality intrinsically disordered.
Instead of answering, Tobin started insulting the Catechism, “That is very unfortunate language.”
Pushing on emotions Tobin expressed his hope “that eventually that language is a little less hurtful.”
He added that it should be out of the debate that we are "called to walk" with the homosexuals [a "walk" that necessarily leads to the confessional and to conversion].

In all honestly, the Cardinal should resign and renounce the priesthood and leave the Church. It's sadism to belong to a hateful organization. But no, he won't do that, because he is a parasite. Treat this man worse than a heathen. Stay far from him.

Yes, that's the same stunt the media pulls on those who defend the Church. Remember that the next time he starts screaming about the dirty tricks they pull. He does the same thing when he can.

Happened on the last thread, too, just in case anyone here was following our discussion. He got "the last word" because he can't cope with the ones he knew I'd give him.

Typical loud-mouthed Texan... infatuated with his own high opinion of himself, until he has to live up to it. When he can't, he resorts whatever gutless tactic will preserve that delusion. For some reason, the Lone Star State just doesn't make men like Audie Murphy anymore. Instead, the best they can do in the 21st century is a man who picks a fight (on a Catholic forum, no less) and then runs away locking the door behind him. This is Texas today. To think, his ancestors were men and women who held the Alamo against the Mexican army and this guy can't even cope with an argument on the internet.

Happy Easter, Matty. When you're at Mass this Sunday, remember this: as much as you despise Jews, the Jew hanging on the cross died for your sins.

His sacrifice alone is proof of His divinity. Only the Son of God Almighty could ever look at someone as hypocritical as you and find something worth saving. You sneer at the Jews and quote Church fathers on their cowardice? Weigh that contempt against the fact you can't have an adult disagreement like a man, like a Texan.

You don't want to be contacted? Lovely. :-) By all rights then, I shouldn't expect any reply from you. Not a word, Matt. You don't want to be contacted, remember. No reason to say anything, since you've already shown you can't deal with it.

This should be an interesting test.

Let's see if Texas made a man brave enough to live up to his own cowardice

Even with Good Friday upon us and the significance of Our Lords suffering, It appears that our 'merciful' prelates cannot allow themselves to articulate the truth of why God allowed his Son to take on the sins of the world. @Ultraviolet is this bigoted language ultraviolet? Do you agree with Tobin and the world? Lying to people for the sin of human respect?

Since you already pick and choose which parts of the Catechism you choose to ignore, why should you get offended when Cardinal Tobin behaves the same way? He ignores the Church's teachings on homosexualty, you ignore the Church's teachings on Jews and Muslims.

Cardinal Tobin insults the Catechism and you called it (and I quote) "false teachings" on another comment thread. The two of you are no different.

While we're on that subject, when you get beaten in an argument on one thread, it's extremely petty to continue the fight on another thread. I didn't post anything on this thread that required you to call me out.

But I do admit to deriving a very real egotistical pleasure in the fact that you did. Out here online, your reaction is the digital sound of pain. Obviously the beating you took was so thorough, you're still barking like a whipped dog about it over here.

Oh, I like that. God forgive me, but I do enjoy doing this to idiots like you. It's fun and, best of all, you brought it on yourself.

Bad doggie! Don't make me roll up the newspaper again. :D

You didn't answer my question. I lose? hah. You lost when you resorted to name calling. Now you're just trolling. Tobin's logic is the same as yours, except you're defending the muslims and jews.

Your Eminence:

It is indescribably distressing for me as a son of the Church of Newark to watch and hear my archbishop misrepresent a critical moral teaching of the Church egregiously and embarrassingly, and I fear deliberately, to the public. You actually shockingly affirm your interviewer’s assertion that the Church teaches that people with same-sex attraction are intrinsically disordered. This rendition of what is taught is utterly false. No person can be disordered, because order is inscribed in his very nature. Only desires and actions—never persons—can be disordered, as the Catechism teaches without the least ambiguity. The difference is not hard to understand, not even for a child; and yet you did not clarify it for your interviewer and her viewers, when it was necessary and completely easy for you to do so.

You are morally obligated to issue publicly a correction of your misrepresentation and to do all in your power to insure that this correction reach the audience that received your erroneous teaching. Recognizing what is at stake in perpetuating this all-too-familiar and slanderous error, will you do this?

Sincerely in Christ,

This guy would try to make us forget what Pope Benedict has just called intrinsically evil acts. He is another Bergoglio apostle of false mercy.

Along with the Catechism, we will need to re-write Holy Scripture, the Church Fathers and the Saints.

We need to pray for strong Bishops not only for the United States but world wide.

The rejection of homosexuality comes directly from God. Tobin is free to disagree. God in his mercy even made a place for dissenters.
