US Archbishop Cordileone Defends Latin
Archbishop Cordileone stressed that the Church abolished Latin and introduced the vernacular exactly at the wrong time. Now, more than ever, we need a universal language of the Church because of migration and tourism, he explained. Cordileone believes that Latin could be re-introduced.
