Jesus, transfiguring himself on Mount Tabor, before the amazed eyes of Peter, James and John, opens a "window", so to speak, on the "future angelic state" that awaits us. Only in this perspective can we understand his heartfelt appeal to love always, everybody, especially the enemies. It is true that if we try to love according to "Jesus' style", we run the risk of "being crucified", but the Father asks us to listen to and follow the example of his beloved Son with unlimited trust, because it is precisely by loving "to the end" , just like Jesus loved, that the glory of the Resurrection is achieved
