Only in recent times do the laity and some religious think they know more than the bishop. The bishops of Medjugorje have been saying since the beginning the apparitions are not credible. The devil is the master of lies. He has deceived countless people since the fall of Adam of Eve, even priests and even Popes. No one is exempt from his treachery.

I think I will go with the tens of thousands of priests and hundreds of bishops not to mention the millions of Catholics whose faith has been deepened for my take on the authenticity of Medjugorje. The church commissions studying it have never found a single evidence of fraud.
You are wrong here. The commission did find, that the one male "visionary" was lying. It also found that the visionaries lack maturity especially the later "visions" were not of supernatural origin. That was from a leaked report of the Vatican.
And in regards to conversions and deepening of faith, our blessed mother will never leave a sincere soul orphaned. Further, often the most beautiful flowers grow a manure pile.
