Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus IS devotion to God's mercy. Jesus' love for us is symbolized in His Sacred Heart. He loved us so much he died for us.
Sister Faustina's diary quotes Jesus as telling her she, Sister Faustina, was closer to Jesus than any other person (not Jesus' mother). There are several errors in her diary.More

God’s Mercy is so Catholic. If you want Mercy plead for God’s Mercy. Is God’s Mercy worthy of a specific Devotion? If this is not the devotion to God’s Mercy then where is the Devotion to God’s Mercy? To toil with God’s Justice is unwise. You get what you ask for.

Devotion to God’s Mercy is found everywhere through the Holy Mass, every time we invoke the Holy Trinity. But this devotion exposes the magnificence of a specific attribute of God that is of particular interest to mankind. An inspiration to meditate on God’s Mercy. A Ask for Mercy
B Be merciful C Complete trust in Jesus.

Sister Lucia of Fatima told Fr Fuentes in 1957 that the Holy Rosary and Devotion to the Immaculate Heart were the last two remedies being given to the world. The last two. There was no mention of a further devotion in the form of Divine Mercy. Sister Lucia’s 1957 Interview with Fr. Fuentes: Are We Now Rejecting the Last Means of Salvation? So I find it difficult to understand this contradiction. I have read Sr Faustina's diary, and found some of it to be bizarre and discomfiting. I didn't get that feeling when reading Fr John Croiset's book on the Sacred Heart which is said to be the definitive book on the Sacred Heart devotion: amazon.co.uk/…Sacred-Heart-How-Practice/dp/0895553341/ref=sr_1_4

Saint’s have different missions. Different devotions are given at different times. Men keep rejecting God’s initiatives. Our Lord’s tells St Faustina this is the last devotion. The Diary is written by a poorly educated Nun in obedience reluctantly revealing her love sentiments with her Beloved.

Divine Mercy is all about the Publican. St Luke 18:13 “O God, be merciful to me a sinner.” 14- I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather than the other:“
Merciful, is a devotion focused on the Omnipotence of God and driving the sinner to humility or an understanding one’s nothingness.
The entire devotion centred in courting and pleading just God’s Mercy.
Is God’s Mercy …

Divine Mercy is all about the Publican. St Luke 18:13 “O God, be merciful to me a sinner.” 14- I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather than the other:“

Merciful, is a devotion focused on the Omnipotence of God and driving the sinner to humility or an understanding one’s nothingness.

The entire devotion centred in courting and pleading just God’s Mercy.

Is God’s Mercy worthy of all the focus attributed to it with a singular devotion?

Examine and meditate on, starting St Luke 18:10 the Publican didn’t have to do much other than be sincerely humble. What is a Pharisee, “
Pharisee standing, prayed thus with himself: O God, I give thee thanks that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, as also is this publican.”

The Publican or the Pharisee, here Our Lord gives us two choices.

Ask yourself, is the Church and the World in particular need of Mercy?

As the LAST recourse for mankind God extols the humility and wisdom of the Publican pleading for Mercy.

Speak to the world about My mercy… it is a sign for the end times. After it will come the day of justice (Diary 848)…Souls perish in spite of My bitter passion…I am giving them the last hope of salvation; that is, the Feast of Mercy. If they will not adore My Mercy, they will perish for all eternity. Secretary of My mercy, write, tell souls about this great mercy of Mine, because the awful day, the day of My justice, is near” (Diary #965).

Sr. Faustina, Our Lord promises that those who go to confession and communion on the Sunday following Easter Sunday will obtain the remission of the guilt and the all punishment owing for sins: “On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flows are opened” (Diary of Sr. Faustina, 699).

We must understand that God is in charge and He can do what He wants, and if he wants to give all the labourers the same wage no matter what the hour, then He can.

At the end of the day, one would be foolish to limit the extent of God’s Mercy and His Justice. All I know is I will call on His Mercy everyday in the hour of His death, which He wants known as the Hour of His Mercy (Death on the Cross), and if your not doing anything better at 3 pm, then just even for a moment recall His unfathomable Mercy for sinners waiting for your intercession.

Jesus I trust in Thee.

Yes indeed we do love the Sacred Heart, God can’t detract from God. What other devotion is specific about 3pm? It is at 3 pm that the font of Mercy was pierced. Do both.

Dear Catholic Doors then in your mercy please pray for me a sinner.
