War Hypocrisy: Not All Bombs Are Interesting

Vik van Brantegem, 75, a former Vatican spokesman and author for Korazym.org, wrote Sunday on Internet,

“In the last 48 hours, three more countries have suffered bombings that no one talks about: Syria, Somalia, Yemen. The victims are many children and defenceless people who have no voice. Those who rely on the perverse logic of weapons do not want peace and annihilate human dignity. Enough!" (Salvatore Lazzara).

Francis recalled this yesterday after the Angelus in St. Peter's Square: "With a heart torn by what is happening in Ukraine - let us not forget the wars in other parts of the world, such as Yemen, Syria, Ethiopia... -, I repeat: stop the weapons!"
