Alicia Martinez, 57, of Broomfield, Colorado, Denver Archdiocese, claimed on February 23 that her Saint Michael statue had emitted a red liquid. Her testimony went viral. Martinez, who works at a grocery store, told CatholicNewsAgency.com that the experience was “inexplicable.”
Three officials from Denver Archdiocese visited her and investigated the phenomenon. After arriving they were told that the statue had been "stolen," although there were no signs of a burglary. However, Martinez provided the officials with some cotton swabs she used to clean the liquid.
March 24, Denver Archdiocese released the result of a chemical analysis saying that the substance was no human or animal blood but comparable to red nail polish.

There is a bunch of charlatans on youtube that claim to receive messages almost everyday from eithe Our Lady, Jesus, St. Michael. Be aware of those channels that propagate them, sometimes its hard to detect because they mix the true with the false. Those are the some of the fake prophets that Jesus warned about.

Sad that so many are willing to believe in these kinds of things at the on set. They should always be viewed with great suspicion

Sounds cruel, but put this woman under interdict until she makes a public admission of guilt.
Sancte Teotónio
That doesn't sound cruel at all but wise.

Why do people do such things? Do they not know they will be exposed as frauds?
Kenjiro M. Yoshimori
Martinez faked the whole thing. Duh!
