Is he just another in a long line of supposed 'saviors', like Giorgia Meloni, whose campaign 'sizzle' provides no 'steak' when they come into office? One hopes not, but having been let down too many times by such as he, I won't hold my breath. I pray for the Argentinians and all of us that he is of a different ilk.

Brilliant; so much to take in. His assessment of Bergoglio is, tragically, valid. It is about time we 'frogs' woke up to the increasing temperature of the water.
