Germany: Victims of fire at Caritas workshop for disabled identified, still no word on cause

BERLIN - German police say they have identified 14 people killed in a fire at a workshop for disabled people but there's still no word on what caused the blaze.
The fire broke out Monday afternoon at a centre in Titisee-Neustadt, in the Black Forest region, which employs people with mental or physical disabilities in a variety of jobs, including metalwork, woodwork and electrical installation.
Police in nearby Freiburg said Tuesday that a 50-year-old supervisor died along with 13 disabled people — 10 women and three men, aged between 28 and 68. Their names were not released, in line with German privacy rules.
A police statement says that the investigation is continuing and it still isn't possible to give information on the cause.
