Outrage? Another War to Worry About

For eleven years, Syria (17 million inhabitants) has been under NATO military and economic war.

The war killed 500’000 people and displaced 11.5 million, according to FaroDiRoma.it (March16). The oligarchs’ media have been indifferent to this.

Six out of ten Syrians do not know how to get food. They stand in line for bread for hours. Children look for something to eat among the rubbish.

90% live below the poverty, unemployment is at 60%, the minimum monthly wage in the public sector is $26. Syrians flee their country and are stranded at the Polish border. The US have invaded the Syrian oil fields stealing the oil. The peace process according to UN Resolution 2254 was blocked.

Damascus Nuncio Cardinal Mario Zenari told VaticanNews.va (March 15) that Syria shows “the same scenario that is taking shape in Ukraine.”
