My children thought it was humorous that the Olympics ceremony would ask us to imagine a sort of one world reality while thousands of people from different countries were gathered to compete against one another. 🤔 But the song is trash, and based on the article, John Lennon himself may have thought the same.

Lennon sang, "Imagine there's no Heaven". Sadly for him, there's not.

I actually didn't read the whole article before I posted it. Msgr. Pope goes on to reveal that toward the end of his life John Lennon distanced himself from the lyrics.
